Deputy Superintendent of Police Bir Bhan stated that the police and agriculture department are working together to patrol and educate people about the crime of stubble burning. A flag march is being conducted to raise awareness.

Delhi Environment Minister Gopal Rai expressed concerns about pollution in the capital, noting that northwest winds could worsen the situation due to stubble burning in nearby states. Rai plans to write to Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav to request a meeting to address air pollution. He emphasized the need for this meeting to explore solutions like artificial rain.
