Haryana Congress Chief Udai Bhan Calls for Action Against Party Rebels

Chandigarh (Haryana) [India], September 28: Ahead of the Haryana assembly polls, state Congress chief Udai Bhan has called for strict action against nine party members who are either contesting against the party’s official candidates or supporting other parties.

In a letter to Manoj Chauhan, AICC secretary and co-incharge of Haryana, Udai Bhan stated that these party rebels have engaged in ‘anti-party activities.’ He recommended the expulsion of Sharda Rathore, Rohita Revri, Satbir Bhana, Rajkumar Valimiki, Kapoor Narwal, Virender Gogdia, Harsh Kumar, Lalit Nagar, and Satbir Ratera.

Bhan emphasized that these individuals should be expelled for six years to ‘curb the indiscipline in the party.’ He noted that the rebels are either supporting other party candidates or running as rebels, thereby tarnishing the party’s image.

Earlier in the day, the Congress Party released its detailed manifesto for the Haryana assembly polls, which will be held on October 5.
