Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Promises 50,000 New Jobs

Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced on Monday that the government will employ 50,000 people in the state government. He mentioned that 1.32 lakh jobs have already been provided based purely on the abilities of the individuals.

Saini stated, “As I had promised earlier, we will employ 50,000 people in the Haryana government… Our social and economic policy is based on ‘Antyodaya’… Thousands of youth, who have joined the Haryana government under this policy, will all be retained. Today’s verdict raises no questions on the CET… Congress gave no jobs to people who had no money… We gave 1.32 lakh jobs to people based purely on the abilities of the person.”

He assured that the government will work diligently in the coming 100 days to meet the expectations of the people of Haryana. “In the coming 100 days, we pledge to work hard and start working on the expectations of the people of Haryana. And in the coming time, we will make 50 thousand recruitments in Haryana,” he added.

The Chief Minister also spoke about the Supreme Court’s decision on granting extra marks to its domiciles in recruitment, saying, “We respect the decision taken by the Supreme Court.”

Earlier on June 8, Saini mentioned that the government will soon start the recruitment process to fill 50,000 vacant posts in the state. He stressed the continuation of a transparent recruitment system for government jobs.

In May, Saini took oath as the Haryana CM at a swearing-in ceremony in Raj Bhawan, Chandigarh, after the collapse of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Jannayak Janata Party (JJP) alliance and the resignation of former Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. Khattar noted that the split was due to demands over Lok Sabha polls seat allocation by JJP leaders.
