Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Promises 50,000 Jobs and New Policies for Backward Classes

On Monday, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the government will work hard to meet the expectations of the people. He pledged to create 50,000 jobs in the state within the next 100 days.

Saini addressed the Supreme Court’s decision to quash Haryana’s policy of granting extra marks to its domiciles in recruitment exams. He stated, “We respect the decision taken by the Supreme Court.” The Supreme Court refused to interfere with the High Court’s order, which quashed Haryana’s notification granting 5% additional marks to domiciles in recruitment exams.

During the press conference, Saini emphasized five key points: there is no question mark on CET after the decision, Congress is spreading lies, the government is fighting for the rights of the poor, a bill may be introduced in the assembly if needed, and the government stands with the poor people.

Saini criticized Congress, stating that the BJP government supports the poor, which is causing problems for Congress. He mentioned that in the current government, people can get jobs without any expense.

On Sunday, the Haryana government made several decisions to benefit the backward classes. The upper-income limit for the creamy layer has been increased to Rs 8 lakh per year, and the reservation for backward classes in Group-A and Group-B government posts has been raised from 15% to 27%. The government also announced a special recruitment campaign to fill the backlog of jobs for Backward Classes A and B on a priority basis.
