Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Criticizes Opposition and Highlights Achievements
Panchkula (Haryana) [India], August 13: Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini criticized the opposition for exploiting farmers, women, and the poor during their rule. This statement was made during the inauguration and foundation stone laying ceremonies of various development projects.
Addressing the media, CM Saini said, “Jobs are being given in a transparent manner. I am happy that more than 1,45,000 jobs have been given in Haryana in the last 10 years. For those who are asking for an account, I want to tell them to give an account of their last 10 years to the people of Haryana. They (Congress) should give their accounts to women, the way they were being exploited during their tenure. They should tell why women were oppressed during their tenure and no FIR could get registered. They should tell why farmers were exploited and made fun of by giving cheques of Rs 2, Rs 5, etc. during their rule. They should tell about how the poor were exploited due to they had to migrate.”
CM Saini further said, “They (Congress) used to announce schemes and we completed them. I want to ask Congress leader Bhupinder Hooda, you were the CM for 10 years and you announced that Rs. 1000 would be given to senior citizens. Did you give it? It was just an announcement. We gave those 1000 rupees. Not just Rs 1000, we also increased it to Rs. 3,000.”
Earlier on August 7, the BJP’s central leadership held a meeting with its Haryana leaders to strategize for the upcoming state assembly election.
