Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Criticizes Congress and Discusses Development with PM Modi
Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has criticized the Congress party for delays in selecting the Leader of the Opposition in the Haryana Assembly, citing internal conflicts. He accused Congress of spreading misinformation both in Haryana and in the parliament through the INDIA bloc leaders. CM Saini stated that the public has lost trust in Congress due to these actions.
During a meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, CM Saini discussed various developmental projects for Haryana. He expressed confidence that the “double-engine” government, involving both state and central leadership, will boost Haryana’s growth. The Prime Minister emphasized the need for rapid development to improve citizens’ lives.
CM Saini also met with Union Ministers Manohar Lal and Nitin Gadkari to discuss projects like expanding the metro rail and the Regional Rapid Transit System in Gurugram. Plans are also underway to extend the RRTS from Sarai Kale Khan to Panipat and Karnal, and to construct a network of roads to ease traffic in Haryana.
Addressing women’s representation, CM Saini highlighted the ‘Beti Bachao-Beti Padhao’ campaign and the ‘Nari Shakti Vandan Adhiniyam’ bill, which aims to empower women in governance. He mentioned initiatives like ‘Drone Didi’ and women’s self-help groups as part of the government’s efforts to support women.
Regarding paddy procurement, CM Saini assured that all paddy with up to 17% moisture content will be procured, with strict action against any complaints. He also mentioned the annual International Gita Mahotsav in Kurukshetra, which attracts visitors from around the world.
On the topic of the Rajya Sabha candidate for Haryana, CM Saini stated that such decisions are made by the party’s central parliamentary board. He also discussed the BJP’s membership campaign, which aims to enroll new members through specific targets for MLAs and MPs.
