Chandigarh, Haryana – On October 15, Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini announced that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will elect its legislature leader in a meeting scheduled for tomorrow. This comes as the BJP prepares to form its third consecutive government in Haryana, having secured 48 seats in the 90-member assembly. The Congress party won 37 seats.

Expressing gratitude to the people of Haryana, CM Saini said, “I thank the public of Haryana for electing the BJP government in Haryana for the third time.” He also mentioned that the oath-taking ceremony is set for October 17.

CM Saini expressed confidence in BJP’s success in the upcoming elections in Jharkhand and Maharashtra, citing the benefits of Prime Minister Modi’s schemes. He criticized the Congress party for creating confusion among the public.

The Election Commission has announced that Jharkhand will vote in two phases on November 13 and 20, while Maharashtra will have a single-phase election on November 20. Votes will be counted on November 23. Jharkhand has 2.60 crore eligible voters, including 11.84 lakh first-time voters and 66.84 lakh young voters. Key dates for nominations and withdrawals have also been set.
