Haryana CM Nayab Singh Saini Announces Benefits for Backward Classes and Prepares for Elections

Rohtak (Haryana), June 23: The Haryana Government, led by Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini, has announced several decisions to benefit the Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the state. The upper income limit for the creamy layer has been increased to Rs 8 lakh per year. Additionally, the reservation for backward classes in Group-A and Group-B government posts has been raised from 15 percent to 27 percent.

The government will also prioritize filling the backlog of jobs for Backward Classes A and B through a special recruitment campaign.

Regarding the upcoming Haryana Assembly elections, CM Saini welcomed Union Minister and election in-charge Dharmendra Pradhan, co-in charge Biplab Kumar Deb, and newly elected members of parliament. He expressed confidence in forming the government for a third consecutive term, citing developmental works and support from Prime Minister Modi.

Saini criticized the Congress party, particularly the Hooda family, for focusing on family politics. He emphasized that the Haryana government is dedicated to the interests of the poor, farmers, and women.

The Haryana Assembly elections will be held at the end of the year, along with elections in Jharkhand, Maharashtra, and Jammu and Kashmir.
