Haryana Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini Confident About BJP’s Victory in Upcoming Elections
Karnal (Haryana) [India], July 7: Chief Minister Nayab Singh Saini has expressed strong confidence that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) will win all 90 assembly seats in the upcoming Haryana elections. He stated that Congress is weak in every assembly and has nothing to speak about.
Saini said, “I don’t think Congress will be able to win any seat in the assembly elections because BJP is very strong in all 90 assembly seats.” He also mentioned that the people of Haryana will make Prime Minister Modi stronger and help form the government for the third time.
On July 6, Union Minister Manohar Lal Khattar held a meeting with state BJP leaders and workers to prepare for the 2024 Assembly elections in Haryana. After the meeting, Khattar told reporters, “The preparations are going on for the Vidhan Sabha elections. The party workers are excited. The lies told by Congress will not work in the next elections. The tactics that they (the Congress) have used in the Lok Sabha elections will not work anymore.”
Khattar also commented on senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s visit to Hathras, saying, “I have heard his statements in the Lok Sabha. I am surprised that such words pop up in his mouth. Is the entire Hindu society violent? The people of the country will give him a befitting reply (when the people come out to vote during the assembly elections).”
In the recent Lok Sabha elections, both BJP and Congress won 5 seats each in Haryana. The BJP had a vote share of 46.11%, while Congress had 43.67%, and its ally Aam Admi Party had 3.94%. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, BJP won all 10 seats in the state. The Haryana Assembly Elections will be held this year for 90 Assembly seats.
