Haryana is expected to witness a triangular fight between the ruling BJP, Congress, and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). AAP and Congress had previously collaborated in the Lok Sabha elections in Haryana and Delhi, and discussions were held for seat-sharing in the assembly polls. However, the talks broke down, with AAP releasing its first list of 20 candidates. Voting for the 90-member legislative assembly in Haryana will be held on October 5, and votes will be counted on October 8, along with those in Jammu and Kashmir.
