Harry Brook’s Record Triple Hundred Stuns Joe Root in Multan Test

In Multan, Pakistan, England’s young cricket star Harry Brook amazed everyone, including his teammate Joe Root, with a stunning triple hundred in a Test match against Pakistan. On the fourth day of the match, Brook’s incredible performance overshadowed even Joe Root, England’s most successful Test batter. Brook, who enjoys playing in Pakistan, formed a remarkable 454-run partnership with Root, helping England reach a massive score of 823/7 before Ollie Pope declared the innings.

Joe Root expressed his admiration for Brook’s maturity and skill at just 25 years old. Root shared his thoughts on Sky Sports Cricket, saying, “Batting with Brook… he’s a character, sometimes he makes you laugh without even trying. It’s good fun. Root was particularly impressed by Brook’s understanding of the game, despite his lack of common sense outside cricket. He noted, “I knew how good he [Brook] was going to be. It was just a case of when he was going to figure it out. The pace at which he’s matured into the player that he is is probably the one thing that has shocked me. But at the same time, it hasn’t because of his work ethic, the way that he looks at the game.”

England’s bowlers were inspired by Brook’s record-breaking performance, taking six Pakistani wickets by the end of Day 4, putting England in a strong position for the final day.
