Harry Brook and England Aim for Victory Against USA in T20 World Cup

England’s batter Harry Brook shared his thoughts before their crucial Super Eights match against the USA in the ICC T20 World Cup. The game will take place in Barbados on Sunday.

England’s Position

England is currently third in their group with one win and one loss. They need to win this match to stay in the race for the semifinals. Their previous game was a close loss to South Africa by seven runs. South Africa leads the group with two wins, while West Indies also have one win and one loss.

USA’s Position

The USA has lost both of their matches and is out of the running for the semifinals.

Harry Brook’s Comments

Brook said, “We have got to win and then obviously see how we are on net run-rate but the main thing is to definitely get that win. We have played in Barbados quite a lot the past six months so we know the conditions, we know the wind and the pitch as well, so hopefully, we can go out there and give them a good battering.”

Regarding their unfamiliarity with the USA team, Brook added, “I have not actually seen them play, just a few highlights here and there of their bowlers. But we will do that [watching their videos etc], do our analysis and have a proper look to make sure that we are ready for the game.”
