Hanuma Vihari Returns to Andhra Cricket with Support from TDP

India Test batter Hanuma Vihari, who earlier vowed never to play for Andhra Pradesh again, has decided to rejoin the team for the upcoming domestic season. Vihari had accused the Andhra Cricket Association (ACA) of mistreatment and political interference, which led to his resignation as captain.

Vihari’s decision to return comes after he received full support from the Telugu Desam Party (TDP), the state’s new ruling party. He expressed his happiness and optimism about his return after meeting with TDP officials, including Minister Nara Lokesh.

Vihari, who has played 16 Test matches for India, looks forward to serving Andhra cricket for a long time. He has an impressive first-class cricket record with 9,325 runs, including 24 centuries and 49 half-centuries.
