Following a tragic incident in Delhi where three UPSC aspirants lost their lives, the Gurugram Municipal Corporation has taken significant steps to prevent such occurrences in their area. On Saturday, they sealed three coaching centres operating in basements.

According to an official release, enforcement teams have begun inspecting coaching centres in all four zones. The Municipal Commissioner of Gurugram, Narhari Singh Bangar, directed the joint commissioners to launch a special campaign to inspect and seal any coaching centres found violating regulations.

Enforcement teams in Zone-1 and Zone-2, led by Assistant Engineer Sanjog Sharma, inspected areas and instructed operators to bring their building plans and operational approval documents to the municipal office on Monday. Similarly, in Zone-3, under Assistant Engineer Rakesh June, and in Zone-4, led by Assistant Engineer Krishna Kumar, inspections were conducted, and operators were asked to submit their documents.

Municipal Commissioner Bangar emphasized that the campaign is crucial for the safety of children and that no negligence will be tolerated. Any coaching centre found violating standards will be sealed.
