Gujarat Titans Launch ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India-Titans Rising’ E-sports Tournament
The Gujarat Titans, a prominent IPL team, have ventured into the E-sports arena with their new tournament, ‘Battlegrounds Mobile India-Titans Rising’. This exciting event features a substantial prize pool of Rs22 lakh and promises thrilling matches as top professional teams face off against emerging talents.
Tournament Details
The tournament began on October 10th and is set to captivate E-sports fans. It includes multiple elimination phases, starting with five offline open qualifiers from October 10th to 15th. These qualifiers are open to all, allowing aspiring BGMI teams to demonstrate their skills. A total of 2,048 teams, comprising over 10,000 gamers, have registered to compete.
Competition Structure
From the qualifiers, 32 teams will progress to the pre-quarters, joining 32 invited teams with top-ranked players. This creates a competitive pool of 48 teams. The competition intensifies in Phase 2 with quarterfinals and semifinals, culminating in a Grand Finale where the top 16 teams vie for the title of Ultimate Champion.

Col. Arvinder Singh, COO of Gujarat Titans, highlighted the growing recognition of E-sports, noting its inclusion in the Olympics and Asian Games. He stated that ‘Titans Rising’ aims to engage fans and expand the team’s brand presence, offering opportunities for aspiring players to compete with professionals.

Renowned E-sports teams like Revenant E-sports, Team IQOO SouL, and Team Orangutan, along with marquee gamers such as Sc0utOp, Omega, and Goblin, will participate in this star-studded tournament.
