Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel is set to visit Nadiad on the afternoon of August 14 to lead the Independence Day eve programs. His visit will start with a tribute at the birthplace of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel. Following this, he will visit the Hindu Orphanage and Santram Temple in Nadiad.

Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel will also attend the ‘At Home’ program in Nadiad on the eve of the 78th Independence Day, alongside Governor Acharya Devvratji. The CM will inaugurate an arms exhibition organized by the Gujarat Police as part of the state-level Independence Day celebrations. Later in the evening, he will participate in a cultural program and virtually inaugurate and lay the foundation stone for various development projects worth Rs 118 crore in the presence of the Governor.

On August 15, 2024, at 8:58 AM, at SRP Ground, Nadiad, the Chief Minister will hoist the national flag and deliver a public address to the people of the state to commemorate the 78th Independence Day.
