Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel Praises K Kailashnathan on His Retirement
Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel extended his best wishes to his Chief Principal Secretary, K Kailashnathan, who is set to retire on June 30, 2024. Patel praised Kailashnathan’s administrative skills and his long service, which began in 2006 during Narendra Modi’s tenure as Gujarat’s Chief Minister.
Patel noted that Kailashnathan continued to serve as Principal Secretary even after retiring from civil service in 2013. He commended Kailashnathan’s keen sense of public issues and tactful working style.
The Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) of Gujarat also posted about Kailashnathan’s retirement, highlighting his expertise in formulating industrial and port policies, as well as his work in areas like drinking water, water grid, and earthquake rehabilitation in Ahmedabad.
Kailashnathan also played a significant role as the Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Mahatma Gandhi Sabarmati Ashram Memorial Trust, contributing to the ashram’s redevelopment. The CMO extended their best wishes for his healthy and happy retirement.
