Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel inaugurated the Padma Shri Joravarsinh Jadav Folk Art Museum, ‘Virast,’ in Akaru village, Dhandhuka. The museum showcases a remarkable collection of ancient artefacts and celebrated artworks. During the felicitation ceremony, the Chief Minister emphasized Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s efforts in promoting India’s heritage, which has led to global recognition of the country’s folk culture, languages, and traditions. He specifically praised the global acclaim for Gujarat’s Garba dance, attributing it to the Prime Minister’s leadership.

The Chief Minister congratulated Padma Shri Joravarsinh Jadav and his family for their dedication to preserving cultural heritage and establishing the ‘Virast’ Museum. He expressed confidence that the museum would inspire the younger generation and serve as a center for safeguarding folk art and culture.
