Gujarat Celebrates 23 Years of Development Under Narendra Modi with Vikas Saptah
In Gandhinagar, Gujarat, a special celebration called ‘Vikas Saptah’ will take place every year from October 7 to October 15, starting in 2024. This event marks the 23-year journey of development that began when Narendra Modi became the 14th Chief Minister of Gujarat on October 7, 2001. The celebration aims to highlight the progress and good governance achieved under Modi’s leadership.
State Cabinet’s Acknowledgment
Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel and the State Cabinet have recognized Modi’s significant contributions to Gujarat’s development. They plan to celebrate these achievements with various programs and events during Vikas Saptah.
Planned Activities
Health Minister Rushikesh Patel announced that the week will feature cultural presentations, ‘Vikas Walks’ at 23 iconic locations, and development-themed essay competitions. Citizens can share their experiences using the hashtag #VikasSaptah. Additionally, several development projects worth over 3,500 crores will be inaugurated.
Focus on Public Participation
The celebration will include themed days like Youth Empowerment Day and Good Governance Day. Public places will be decorated with wall paintings, and important sites will be illuminated. The Bharat Vikas Pratigya will encourage public involvement in development.
