He recalled Prime Minister’s statement that the third decade of the 21st century will belong to Uttarakhand. The Chief Minister announced various schemes to boost the state’s development, including:

  • Developing one local body in each district as a model body
  • Increasing the pension scheme amount from Rs 4000 to Rs 6000
  • Connecting youth with skill development schemes
  • Developing a welfare scheme for senior citizens
