A goods train derailed near Tupkadih in Jharkhand’s Bokaro district on Thursday morning, according to railway officials. Two wagons of the train overturned while crossing between the Tupkadih and Rajabera sections.

The derailment has significantly affected rail traffic on the route, leading to the diversion of over 10 trains. Services on the downline track have been suspended due to complete damage.

A 15-member team from the Bokaro Railway Protection Force (RPF) is present at the site, and restoration works are currently underway. The cause of the accident is still unknown, and an investigation is ongoing.
