Goa CM Pramod Sawant Celebrates World Youth Skill Day
On July 11, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant addressed the World Youth Skill Day event at Kala Academy. He also inaugurated Centers of Excellence at ITIs in Farmagudi, Bicholim, Mapusa, Cacora, and Vasco.
Key Highlights
During the event, CM Sawant emphasized the importance of skilling, reskilling, and upskilling for youth empowerment. He mentioned that the government is committed to initiatives like the CM Apprenticeship Program to boost employment and entrepreneurship.
MoU Signing
CM Sawant participated in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Tata Technology and ITIs in the state. He also felicitated district-level achievers and companies contributing to skill development through CSR activities.
Exhibition Details
The exhibition at Kala Academy will be open until July 15, from 10 am to 5 pm. CM Sawant encouraged youth, students, parents, and industry representatives to explore opportunities for skill upgradation and a successful future.

The event was attended by MP Sadanand Shet Tanavade, Education Secretary Prasad Lolayekar, and representatives from Tata Tech, Putzmeister, Siemens, Taj Hotels, Jaquar, Daikin, and other dignitaries.
