On Saturday, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant inaugurated the ‘Cancer Screening Abhiyan’ with a mobile cancer-detecting van in North Goa. The van will provide facilities like x-rays, mammography, screening, and blood investigations.

Key Features of the Initiative

The Chief Minister highlighted that the pre-cancer detection camp is a collaborative effort involving Goa Medical College, Goa Dental College, and the Directorate of Health Services. According to Sawant, this screening bus will significantly aid in the early detection of cancer.
