Giriraj Singh’s ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ Sparks Controversy in Bihar
BJP leader and Union Minister Giriraj Singh has claimed that Hindus from various political parties, including JD(U), RJD, Communist parties, Congress, and BJP, are supporting his ‘Hindu Swabhiman Yatra’ in Bihar. This statement comes after JD(U) leader Khalid Anwar accused Singh of having an extremist ideology, which he believes is unsuitable for governing Bihar.
Singh, undeterred by the criticism, stated, “Jail is nothing. I will keep fighting this fight till the last drop of my blood.” He emphasized that the yatra is not affiliated with any political leaders or parties but is a movement for Hindu unity.
Khalid Anwar criticized Singh’s yatra, suggesting it could disrupt Bihar’s social harmony. He expressed gratitude to the BJP for distancing itself from Singh’s ideology, asserting that Bihar is a place of brotherhood. Anwar warned that the state government, led by Nitish Kumar, would take action against any attempts to divide society.
Singh clarified that the yatra was not organized by the BJP and aims to ensure the safety of Hindus. He accused leaders of the INDIA bloc of Muslim appeasement and criticized Akhilesh Yadav for not addressing certain incidents, labeling his actions as anti-Hindu.
