Weighing around 2 tons and standing 7 feet tall, Gholu-2 is a highlight of the festival, which is celebrated two days after Diwali in Khairatabad, Hyderabad.

Edla Haribabu, the organizer and Telangana State General Secretary of the All India Yadav Mahasabha, announced that the festival will feature five majestic buffalo bulls from Haryana and Punjab, including Gholu-2, Srikrishna, Vidayak, Basha, and Shera. Gholu-2’s owner, Narendra Singh, has been honored with the Padma Shri award. Gholu-2’s diet includes apples, bananas, dry fruits, milk, and ghee, and it receives special care with air-conditioned transport, walking exercises, and massages.
