German Tourist Berg Florian Robbed and Attacked Near Lahore Airport

A German tourist named Berg Florian was camping near Lahore airport when he was attacked by two armed men. They stole his valuables, including an iPhone, cash, and a camera worth around PKR 500,000.

Florian, who is 27 years old and came to Pakistan from Diyarbakir, was sleeping in his tent in a park near Guldasht Town when the incident occurred. The attack happened within the North Cantonment area of Lahore, and a First Information Report (FIR) has been filed.

After the robbery, Florian tried to reach the Rangers office on his bicycle but collapsed due to his injuries. Nearby people took him to the Rangers Hospital, where he received medical assistance. Florian also claimed that he informed the patrolling Dolphin Squad about the robbery, but they demanded money from him.

On Florian’s request, the Lahore Police registered a case under Section 382 of The Pakistan Penal Code, which deals with theft causing death, hurt, or restraint. The police are investigating the incident, as there have been reports of similar robberies in the area, specifically within the South Cantonment Police Station limits.
