German Ambassador and Indian Leaders Express Condolences Over Hathras Stampede Tragedy

New Delhi, India – German Ambassador to India, Philipp Ackermann, expressed his deep sadness over a tragic stampede in Hathras, India, which resulted in 87 deaths. He conveyed his condolences to the families of the victims and hoped for quick assistance to the injured.

Uttar Pradesh Minister Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary announced a compensation of 2 Lakh INR for the families of those who died. Aligarh Commissioner Chaitra V confirmed that 87 people have died and 18 are injured but out of danger. Hathras DM Ashish Kumar stated that the district administration is investigating the incident and providing aid to the injured.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi expressed his condolences in a parliament session, wishing for the speedy recovery of the injured and assuring that relief efforts are being supervised by the state government. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also expressed his heartfelt condolences and directed the district administration to expedite relief efforts and ensure proper medical treatment for the injured.
