This visit took place on the second day of Shardiya Navratri, a festival dedicated to Goddess Durga. Dressed in traditional attire, Gambhir offered prayers and received honors from temple officials.

About Navratri

Navratri, meaning ‘nine nights’, is a Hindu festival celebrating Goddess Durga and her nine forms, known as Navdurga. It is observed four times a year, with Chaitra and Shardiya Navratri being the most celebrated. In North India, the festival includes Ramlila performances and concludes with Vijayadashami, marked by burning effigies of King Ravana.

India vs Bangladesh T20I Series

Following the Test series, India will face Bangladesh in a three-match T20I series. Suryakumar Yadav will lead the team, with Sanju Samson and Jitesh Sharma as wicketkeeper-batters.
