Gautam Gambhir Discusses India’s Performance Against New Zealand and Upcoming Australia Series

In New Delhi, Indian Cricket Team’s head coach, Gautam Gambhir, openly discussed the team’s recent performance in the series against New Zealand. He acknowledged that the team was outplayed in all areas, stating, “Obviously, the learning is that we accept that we were outplayed. I’m not going to sit here and defend. I think we were outplayed in all three departments.” Gambhir emphasized the importance of accepting criticism and improving continuously.

Despite the challenges, Gambhir highlighted his strong relationship with team captain Rohit Sharma, recalling their past successes. He mentioned, “My relationship with Rohit has been incredible,” and noted that their past achievements, like the test match in Kanpur, remain significant.
