Meeting with Telangana Chief Minister

On October 18, Gautam Adani, Chairman of the Adani Group, met with Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy in Hyderabad. During this meeting, Adani handed over a donation cheque of Rs 100 crore to support the establishment of the Young India Skills University.

Gautam Adani expressed his excitement about contributing to the transformative vision of the Telangana government. He emphasized the importance of creating a lasting legacy that will benefit future generations by unlocking the potential of India’s youth.

Support for Skills Development

The Telangana Chief Minister’s Office shared that Adani has promised ongoing support for the state’s initiatives in skills development and youth empowerment. The university aims to start its courses this year, with initial classes beginning in October at the Engineering Staff College of India (ESCI) on a temporary basis.

Courses and Infrastructure

The university will initially offer courses in Healthcare, Commerce, and Logistics. The Telangana government has allocated 150 acres of land and Rs 100 crore for the university’s development. The Chief Minister has invited industrialists and companies to partner with the university to provide training and job opportunities for the youth.
