G Kishan Reddy Demands Financial Transparency from Telangana Congress Government
In Hyderabad, Telangana, Union Minister and Telangana BJP President G Kishan Reddy has called for the Congress government to release a white paper detailing the financial situation in Telangana. Reddy highlighted that when Telangana was formed in 2014, the state had a surplus budget and a strong economy. However, he accused the first government, BRS, of corruption and mismanagement, claiming they failed to properly implement schemes and took loans without improving the economic situation.
Reddy criticized the Congress for not fulfilling promises made during the last Vidhan Sabha elections, including waiving 50% of farmers’ loans and providing financial support to various groups. He questioned how the Congress plans to implement their six guarantees and welfare schemes, especially with plans to take a significant loan for the Musi river beautification project.
Reddy demanded a white paper on the economic conditions of Telangana, alleging that CM Revanth Reddy, Rahul Gandhi, and Sonia Gandhi have betrayed the people of Telangana.
