G Kishan Reddy Criticizes Congress for Not Fulfilling Promises in Telangana

Hyderabad (Telangana) [India], July 9: Union Minister and Telangana BJP chief G Kishan Reddy criticized Congress for not fulfilling the six guarantees they made during the Telangana Assembly elections. He accused the Congress party of giving false guarantees and failing to implement them even after seven months in power.

Reddy mentioned that Sonia Gandhi had written a letter to every household in Telangana, promising to fulfill all six guarantees within 100 days if Congress came to power. However, Reddy pointed out that none of these promises have been implemented, questioning Sonia Gandhi and Rahul Gandhi on their failure to deliver.

He also criticized CM Revanth Reddy for not taking action and merely visiting villages without making any progress. Reddy emphasized that the people of Telangana are upset with Congress and highlighted that BJP received 36% of the votes in Telangana during the Lok Sabha elections, winning 8 seats. He expressed confidence that BJP will come to power in Telangana in the future.

During the election campaign, Congress released six guarantees under the ‘Abhaya Hastham’ scheme. These included:

Telangana went to polls on November 30, and the counting of votes took place on December 3.
