Four Brave Soldiers Martyred in Doda Encounter

Four Indian Army soldiers, including an officer, were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Doda, Jammu and Kashmir. The Congress party criticized the central government, highlighting nine terrorist attacks in 38 days of the BJP’s third term.

Congress Criticizes Government

The Congress party posted a graphic on ‘X’ stating that 12 soldiers and 10 civilians were killed, and many others injured in recent attacks. They expressed condolences for the soldiers and their families.

Statements from Congress President

Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge expressed his distress over the martyrdom of the soldiers and called for a reassessment of security strategies. He criticized the government for acting as if it were business as usual.

Ongoing Operations

Defence officials confirmed that operations are still ongoing in Doda. A joint operation was launched by the Army and Jammu and Kashmir police following an exchange of fire with terrorists. Additional troops have been called in to tighten the cordon.
