Former Jharkhand CM Champai Soren Faces Insults, Keeps Options Open for Future

Ranchi (Jharkhand) [India], August 18: Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Champai Soren expressed his feelings of being ‘insulted’ during his tenure. He mentioned that until the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly polls, ‘all options are open for him’.

Instances of Insult

Champai Soren listed various instances where he was not allowed to call a meeting of the legislative party and was asked to resign suddenly. This prompted him to look for an alternative path.

Political Journey

In a long post on X, Soren shared his journey of raising the voice of workers against industrial houses and fighting for the rights of tribals, natives, poor, laborers, students, and people of backward classes in Jharkhand.

Tenure as Chief Minister

He served as the 12th Chief Minister of Jharkhand from January 31 to July 3. During his tenure, he took many decisions in the public interest and was always available for everyone.

Humiliating Experiences

Soren recounted how his programs were canceled by the party leadership, including a public program in Dumka and an event to distribute appointment letters to PGT teachers. He felt humiliated and introspected for two days, searching for his mistake.

Options for the Future

After being asked to resign, Soren considered three options: retiring from politics, forming his own organization, or finding a companion to continue his journey. He emphasized that all options are open for him until the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Soren also mentioned that this is his personal struggle and he has no intention of involving any party member or causing harm to the organization.
