Former CM Channi Comments on CM Bhagwant Mann’s Health After Leptospirosis Diagnosis

Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann has tested positive for leptospirosis, a bacterial infection. Former Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi took a jibe at Mann, saying, “If a CM cannot take care of himself, how will he take care of Punjab.” Despite his criticism, Channi wished Mann a speedy recovery.

Doctors at Fortis Hospital in Mohali, where Mann was admitted for a routine check-up, reported that he is stable and responding well to treatment. Dr. RK Jaswal, Director and Head of the Department of Cardiology at Fortis Hospital, stated that Mann has shown significant improvement in his clinical parameters and is on appropriate antibiotics.

“The Chief Minister had shown signs of significant improvement in his clinical parameters. He has also responded well to the treatment for the increase in pulmonary artery pressure,” Dr. Jaswal said. The hospital’s statement confirmed that all vitals of the Chief Minister are completely stable and pathological tests have shown satisfactory improvement.
