Former BJP MLA Bapusaheb Pathare Joins Sharad Pawar’s NCP-SCP in Mumbai
On September 18, former BJP MLA Bapusaheb Tukaram Pathare from Vadgaon Sheri constituency officially joined the Sharad Pawar faction of the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP-SCP) during a public ceremony at Sharad Pawar’s residence in Mumbai.

The event was attended by NCP-SCP National President and MP Sharad Pawar, and the party’s National Working President and MP Supriya Sule. Pathare’s son, Surendra Pathare, along with former municipal councilors Mahadev Pathare, Mahendra Pathare, and Bhaiyasaheb Jadhav, also joined the party.
The NCP-SCP welcomed the new members warmly, wishing them success in their social and political endeavors.
Jayant Patil’s Claims
Earlier, on September 10, NCP-SCP MLA Jayant Patil claimed that Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Ajit Pawar is significantly influenced by his consultants. Patil stated that Ajit Pawar’s speeches are heavily guided by these consultants, who have been hired at great expense.
Patil remarked, “Ajit Pawar is not the same anymore; he speaks in the manner he is advised by his consultants.” This statement followed Ajit Pawar’s comments during his ‘Jan Samman Yatras’ about societal disapproval of family rifts.
