Former Andhra Pradesh CM Jagan Mohan Reddy Expresses Grief Over Anakapalli Reactor Explosion
YSRCP President and former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, expressed deep sorrow over a tragic reactor explosion at Atchutapuram SEZ in Anakapalli district. The incident resulted in three deaths and 17 injuries.
Jagan Mohan Reddy extended his heartfelt condolences to the families of those who lost their lives and urged the government to ensure the injured receive the best possible medical treatment. He also called for immediate steps to prevent such incidents in the future and demanded adequate support for the families of the deceased.
Additional SP Ankapalle, Deva Prasad, stated, “Treatment of the injured is going on in the hospital. The situation at the spot is peaceful.”
Andhra Pradesh Labour, Factories, Boilers & Insurance Medical Services Minister, Vasamsetti Subhash, mentioned that rescue teams are working and further updates will be provided soon. He said, “A reactor explosion took place at a private company in Achutapuram in Anakapalli district. Three people were killed and 17 injured in the incident. The injured have been admitted to two private hospitals. Rescue teams are currently unable to enter the premises due to dense smoke and rescue operations are underway. It is not clear how many people may still be trapped inside the company. Rescue teams are working to reach there as soon as possible and further updates will be provided soon.”
