Food Corporation of India, Pune and PCMC Academy Shine in Hockey Pune League

In the Hockey Pune League 2024-25, held at Major Dhyanchand Stadium, Nehrunagar-Pimpri, Food Corporation of India, Pune and PCMC Academy ‘B’ showcased impressive performances.

Senior Division

Food Corporation of India, Pune triumphed over PCMC Academy with a score of 8-3. Bheem Batala scored in the 3rd and 46th minutes, while Ajay Naidu added goals in the 10th, 56th, and 59th minutes. Other scorers included Venkatesh D (22nd), Raj Patil (23rd), and Akash Pawar (25th). For PCMC Academy, Hargude Arjun scored in the 15th and 48th minutes, and Abhishek Mane added one in the 43rd minute.

Junior Division

PCMC Academy ‘B’ defeated Kids Hockey Academy 6-2. Adiraj Singh and Prince Patiyal scored early goals, with Patiyal adding another in the 45th minute. Additional goals came from Aditya Khude (24th), Numair Shaikh (40th), and Prem Vijendra (44th). Kids Hockey Academy’s goals were scored by Akash Sawant (22nd) and Akash Singh (60th).
