Five Afghan Men Found Hanging in Pakistan’s Chagai District
In Dalbandin, Chagai district, Pakistan, five Afghan men were found hanging from electricity poles. The victims were identified as Rozi Khan, Rehmat Ullah, Sami Ullah, Agha Wali, and Sardar Wali, all residents of Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan.
Muhammad Jawad, an official from Shah Fahad Bin Sultan Hospital, confirmed their identities with the help of Muhammad Yahya, a resident of Girdi Jangle, an Afghan refugee camp in Chagai district. The bodies were then moved to Quetta.
Police are investigating a possible connection to a viral video where the men confessed to the murder of Murad Notezai, a leader of the banned militant group Jaish al-Adl. Authorities are working to determine if the victims are the same individuals from the video or if they were killed in separate incidents.
A senior police officer stated, “We are investigating the incident to determine whether the deceased are the same individuals who made confessional statements in the video or if they are unrelated individuals.”
