A firing incident took place at a cafe restaurant in the Satya Niketan area of New Delhi on Sunday. According to the Delhi Police, the altercation began when some people from Jahangirpuri argued with the cafe manager over a table. During the argument, they took out a pistol and fired into the air.

The police have apprehended one of the suspects and are working to catch the others involved. Further investigation is ongoing.

Earlier Incident at Mukherjee Nagar

On the same day, another firing incident occurred at a jewellery store in Mukherjee Nagar, New Delhi. The Delhi Police reported that the miscreants arrived on a motorcycle, fired shots, and fled the scene. They left a note demanding a ransom of Rs 1 crore from the jeweller, threatening to kill him if the ransom was not paid.
