On November 1, the Hyderabad Fire Department responded to sixteen fire-related calls, with significant incidents in Himayat Nagar and Secunderabad. Fortunately, no casualties were reported. The first major fire occurred at Keerthi Shikara Apartments in Himayat Nagar, caused by an unattended lit lamp. Firefighters quickly extinguished the blaze. Another fire was reported at a Bata shop in Secunderabad, which was also swiftly contained.

Meanwhile, in Delhi, the Fire Service received over 300 fire-related calls during Diwali. Although there were no life-threatening cases, minor incidents were reported, including one in Vikaspuri where two people became unconscious, and another in Mangolpuri where a woman and two children were injured. The increased fire force this year helped manage the situation effectively.
