Fire in Madurai Women’s Hostel: Two Dead, Two Injured
A fire broke out in a women’s hostel in the Kattarapalayam area of Madurai, Tamil Nadu, during the early hours of Thursday. The incident occurred near the Periyar Bus Stand, where over 40 students were residing at the time.
Casualties and Injuries
Madurai District Collector Sangeetha confirmed that two people lost their lives and two others sustained injuries. The injured individuals have been admitted to the hospital for treatment.
