Fire in Ghaziabad’s Defence Colony: 3 Dead, 4 Injured

A tragic incident occurred in Ghaziabad’s Defence Colony when a fire broke out in an under-construction building due to a gas cylinder leak. The fire resulted in the deaths of three people and injuries to four others.

Details of the Incident

According to Siddharth Gautam, Assistant Commissioner of Police, Shalimar Garden, the police received information from locals about the fire. The fire service was informed, and the police quickly reached the scene to extinguish the fire and rescue the injured.

The injured individuals were sent to the hospital for treatment. Unfortunately, three people died during treatment, while the other four are still undergoing medical care.

Cause of the Fire

The investigation revealed that the fire started due to a gas cylinder leak while people were cooking in the room of the under-construction house. The police are continuing to investigate all aspects of the accident and are taking further legal action.
