FIA Arrests Ali Afaq in Gujranwala for Human Trafficking and Visa Fraud
The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested Ali Afaq in Gujranwala for alleged human trafficking and visa fraud. During the arrest, 36 Pakistani passports were recovered from him. The FIA is continuing to conduct raids to apprehend his accomplices.
Four days ago, Aliyan Zaman was arrested at Jinnah International Airport in Karachi while trying to travel abroad with 47 illegal visas on his phone. He planned to travel to the UK via Malaysia and had paid PKR 4,00,000 to an agent.
Last month, Usman Irshad and Qasim Ali were arrested at Sialkot Airport for attempting to smuggle people to Greece. Usman Irshad was found to be working with an agent named Umair, while Qasim Ali intended to travel to Greece from Saudi Arabia.
