Three people, including a father and son, tragically drowned during a ceremony to immerse a Ganesha idol at Ranganahatti Lake near Marasandra village in Turuvekere taluk, Tumakuru, Karnataka. The incident took place on Sunday within the Dandinashivara police station limits.

The victims have been identified as Revanna, his son Sharah, and Dayanand. The police reported that they are currently investigating the incident. Both police and fire department personnel arrived at the scene immediately after the incident was reported.
