Fatehpur Police Arrest Two Robbers After Encounter in Uttar Pradesh
In Fatehpur, Uttar Pradesh, two men named Golu and Karan were arrested by the police after an encounter in Bahd village. The police recovered two pistols, two empty cartridges, two live cartridges, Rs 29,450 in cash, a motorcycle, and two looted gold chains from the accused.
Golu, who had a Rs 25,000 reward on him, was injured in the leg during the encounter. The police stated that the accused started firing at them, leading to the police firing back in self-defense. Golu was injured, and Karan was caught while trying to escape.
The recovered gold chains were linked to a previous robbery case. The police have added charges under Section 417(2) of the BNS and are continuing their investigation.
