Farmer Leader Sarwan Singh Pandher Announces Mahapanchayats Amid Ongoing Protests

Farmer leader Sarwan Singh Pandher claimed that the farmer’s agitation has been ongoing since February 13 in Delhi. He announced that there will be a mahapanchayat in Jind on September 15 and in Pipli on September 22.

Pandher accused the central government of misusing agencies to intimidate the protesters, especially with elections approaching in Haryana. He mentioned that 433 farmers were injured, and one farmer, Shubhkaran Singh, lost his life during the protests. Around 70,000 paramilitary personnel were deployed in Haryana.

Pandher emphasized that the farmers are not scared and will continue their protest until their demands are met. He also mentioned that they will advance towards Delhi on the completion of 200 days of the protest.
