Family Seeks Help to Find Siddhant Patil Missing in Glacier National Park

Siddhant Vitthal Patil, who was working in San Jose, went missing during a trip to Glacier National Park in Montana. His family, especially his maternal uncle Pritesh Chaudhari, is urging the Indian government to assist in finding him.

Patil’s last known location was shared with the Indian consulate in Seattle, but they have been told Siddhant is presumed dead. Chaudhari has provided all the information to the embassy and is coordinating with them, but has yet to receive a thorough response.

Chaudhari has also requested help from External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Despite the embassy’s efforts, including using drones to scan the area, the high water levels are delaying the search. Siddhant’s employers at Cadence Design Systems in San Jose are also urging the US Congress representative to follow up on the matter.

According to reports, Siddhant went to Avalanche Creek with friends, slipped on a rock, and was swept away by the current. The Indian Consulate in Seattle is in touch with the Governor of Montana and is keeping Siddhant’s family updated.
