According to Bareilly Superintendent of Police Aqmal Khan, the explosion resulted in the collapse of four houses, including one belonging to Rahman Shah. The injured individuals, including a woman, were taken to a nearby hospital. The factory had a license for manufacturing firecrackers in the name of Nasir Shah, and the incident took place at his in-law’s house.

Bareilly Chief Medical Officer Vishram Singh reported that three injured people were brought to the emergency ward, while two others were brought in dead. The identities of some victims are still being confirmed.
