Exciting Wins at Indian National Rally Sprint Championship 2024 in Bengaluru

The FMSCI Indian National Rally Sprint Championship 2024 South Zone 2W Qualifiers took place at Stella 23 Farms in Sarjapur, Bengaluru. The event saw over 140 participants, including a special one-make EV category featuring the Ather 450X.

Top Performers

In the Open Class Up to 550cc, Asad Khan from Bengaluru secured the top spot with a time of 7:36.500. Suhail Ahmad followed in second place with 7:44.500, and Nataraj R came third with 7:45.600.

In the Privateer Only Up to 550cc class, Sinan Francis finished first with 7:37.500, followed by Nataraj R (7:39.800) and Suhail Ahmad (7:44.900).

Other Categories

In the 131cc to 165cc class, Yogesh P led with 8:07.900, Abdul Rahman came second with 8:09.000, and Abdur Pasha finished third with 8:17.400.

Karan Kumar won the 160cc to 260cc class with 7:47.800, while Sachin D (7:48.300) and Uday Kumar (7:54.200) followed.

In the 260cc to 400cc class, Donesh Deepak Joshi, Hemant Gowda, and Venu Rameshkumar took the top three spots.

Sinan Francis and Suhail Ahmad also excelled in the Up to 550cc (Bullet) class, finishing first and second respectively, with Naresh VS in third.

In the Up to 210cc (Scooter) class, N Karthik led with 9:04.800, followed by Gautham N (9:08.700) and G Ganapathy (12:45.000).

Yogesh P won the Up to 260cc category with 8:13.400, Asad Khan came second with 8:15.600, and Sanjay Somashekar finished third with 8:16.300.

Sharath Kumar led the 261cc to 450cc category with 8:24.800, followed by Naresh (8:31.700) and Suhail Ahmad (8:32.300).

Special Categories

In the EV category, Mohammed Zaheer took the lead with 9:16.500, followed by Subramanya T (9:19.900) and Varun Kumar (9:23.500).

In the Star of Karnataka category, Sanjay Somashekar led with 7:54.000, followed by Bharath L (8:13.400) and Abrar Ahmed (8:14.000).

In the Veterans class, Jose AJ led with 9:09.400, followed by Venu Rameshkumar (9:11.600).

In the Ladies Class Up to 260cc, Panchami LS led with 9:56.600, followed by Tanaya Singh (10:12.400), Lani Zena Fernandes (10:39.800), and Vandyashree (10:50.800).
